There are so many good movies on Netflix. Also a lot of shitty movies. There are independent movies, comedies, horror, action all the types of movies. Why can't I write one? I need to obviously be taught how to write a screenplay first but after that, what is possibly stopping me? Lack of talent? Lack of motivation? Yes all those things but I do have ideas.
Given my extensive knowledge of Winston the Pug's mental state, I could write quite a colourful and adventurous story for children about his adventures.
I could write a movie about a girl who spends her time watching Netflix instead of accomplishing her dreams. And then put it on Netflix, to be a bit ironic.
I could write a movie to solve my lack of rom-com issue, but I feel like it must be really hard to write one that doesn't feel cheesy.
What else... I could write an epic adventurous fantasy movie about a prince who is captured by a dragon and has to be rescued by a group of badass fighters led by a woman and her pet who is a gargoyle brought to life by magic.
I could write a story that takes place entirely in one apartment building over the course of one day where hilarity happens via the comical and outrageous situations the tenets bring.
So I guess I can maybe write a movie right? I just need to know how. I know there are some courses in the area but I don't have hundreds of dollars or thousands of dollars or really months and month at the moment. I need to find the time though. Because how else will I ever get to write a movie?
